DAKANVICS – A JOURNEY TO SHAPE GLOBAL EDUCATION
Where it all began…
We came from two very different paths—one an educator, the other a technology engineer—into the field of education. After decades of working in developed countries and supporting thousands of students, we met at a shared concern:
“Why is high-quality education so difficult to access for the majority of students around the world? And why should borders – geography – income – and regulations limit a talented child?”

An educator who went far to return home
I am an education developer who has worked in Vietnam for nearly a decade, after holding various roles in educational organizations in Canada and the United States. I had the chance to work with outstanding educators—those who not only helped children “do well on tests” but empowered them to become their true selves.
However, while supporting Vietnamese students stepping into the world, I witnessed many talented, hardworking students still facing major challenges in:
- Critical thinking.
- Communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-learning and self-direction.
- Adaptability to international learning environments.
I realized that Vietnamese students—or those from any country—do not lack ability. They simply lack the opportunity to access more educational systems, to learn more, and from there develop more advanced thinking.
A technology engineer with the heart of a teacher
My co-founder is a seasoned information technology engineer who has spent over 20 years developing learning systems for many major educational institutions. But deep inside, he has the heart of a teacher: constantly concerned with how technology can not only support operations but also unlock students’ learning potential. He once said:
Technology must make education more equitable—not deepen the divide.
Dakanvics – A Shared Vision
We share a belief:
High-quality education should be a right of access—not a privilege.
And thus, Dakanvics was born.
Dakanvics is not a “school” under current legal definitions. We do not operate as an official school—at least not in Vietnam—because the law does not yet permit it.
Instead, Dakanvics is a learning platform—offering a comprehensive education program aligned with international standards, universally recognized, and designed so that:
- Any student—anywhere—can access it.
- Any school—of any country—can acknowledge it.
- Any future—university, studying abroad, vocational training, or entrepreneurship—can begin here.
Dakanvics aims to become a modern digital education ecosystem where Vietnamese students and students worldwide can learn according to global standards, be assessed based on individual competencies, and be trained in mindset – skills – and character to integrate with confidence and equality.
And when the legal framework in Vietnam allows, we will officially become an online school—just as Dakanvics was meant to be.
An educational community united by mission
From the very first bricks, we began looking for like-minded individuals. And fortunately, we were not alone.
We’ve built a fantastic development team including:
- Outstanding edtech engineers, well-versed in digital learning platforms, AI, and education data management.
- Veteran educators from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Vietnam, experienced in teaching, curriculum design, and student development.
- Specialists in liberal education, personalized learning, and school psychology researchers.
All of them joined Dakanvics not for titles or reputation, but because they believe that education can be better – fairer – and more meaningful through the collaboration of kind and dedicated people.
Dakanvics – For a generation of global citizens with national soul.
We are not merely creating an “academic program,” but a system of educational philosophy rooted in technology – humanity – and global perspective.
At Dakanvics, students are not limited by textbooks, scores, or exams. They are:
- Exploring natural and social sciences, math, and language through experiential and creative approaches.
- Learning about the world through global topics, civic education, environment, and culture.
- Practicing lifelong learning skills, independent thinking, and applying AI technology in their studies.
- And most importantly, always preserving the beauty, spirit, and educational values of the country where they were born.
We are not following the traditional “distance learning” model, but instead developing a personalized learning approach—based on data, technology, and positive relationships among teachers – students – and parents.
The future belongs to those who dare to shape it
Dakanvics is not a short-term project. It is a long-term commitment—towards a future where every Vietnamese student, or any student in the world—from rural to urban, from deserts to islands—can learn an international standard curriculum, without having to leave their homeland.
And we believe: If technology can break all boundaries—then education must do the same.
