PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The American Online Middle School program is a comprehensive online learning pathway for students in Grades 6 to 8, designed in alignment with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) of the United States and delivered entirely through a digital learning platform.
The program covers three core subjects: English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, and Science, enabling students to develop academic language proficiency, logical reasoning, and scientific inquiry skills through personalized lessons, flexible interaction, and a focus on independent thinking.
Each subject not only provides grade-level knowledge but also fosters long-term learning competencies, preparing students for high school success and global integration.

Frequently Asked Questions
- General Questions
Is Dakanvics an official online school?
Dakanvics is a digital learning platform that offers globally recognized international programs. Students can enroll in individual courses or full pathways to accumulate credits toward international diplomas such as ACA, Cambridge IGCSE, and A-Level.
How does it work?
Dakanvics is an online course provider of various courses. Our safe, online learning environment supports students by providing engaging content that aligns with the learning curriculum. Our professionally designed and written courses enable students to develop the skills and knowledge they will need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
Students and learning coaches decide how, when, and where courses are completed. Dakanvics allows students up to 12 months to complete a course, but students may move through the material at their own pace. Our online courses make use of texts, videos, graphics, interactive elements, and suggested offline activities throughout.
Who may take a Dakanvics course?
Anyone may take a Dakanvics's course regardless of their location, education level, or current school. Permission from a student’s main school of registration is not required.
How long does it take to complete a course?
Students work through Dakanvics courses at a pace that suits them within the 12-month time limit. The time that it takes each student to complete a course depends on the learner’s unique skills and abilities, as well as on other commitments the student may have while working on the course(s).
Dakanvics provides a Pacing Tool in each course. This tool can be used to set a schedule for completing the course based on the date by which the student would like to complete the course. This schedule may be adjusted by the learning coach or student at any time.
Do learners have to study full-time or can they choose individual subjects?
Full-time study is not required. Students can register for individual subjects such as Math, English, Science, IELTS, or SAT based on their personal schedule and learning goals.
What are the technical requirements?
Students can access their courses from any device, such as a laptop or tablet that has stable, high-speed internet access. All software should also be up to date on the student’s device. Students may email Dakanvics with any technical problems they encounter. Students should have access to a printer and a scanner or a smartphone camera so they can digitize handwritten work.
What English level is required to begin studying?
A minimum of A2 (CEFR) is recommended for primary-level courses, and B1 or higher for secondary and high school programs. Students below this level can start with Dakanvics’ foundational English support courses.
Will my learner receive a report card?
Students who register for a facilitated course receive three report cards throughout the course: a progress report, a midterm report, and a final report.
Progress report
- Issued after completion of the first unit
- Does not include grades but provides feedback at the beginning of the course
Midterm Report
- Issued after completion of half the coursework
- Includes grades, learning skills, and written feedback
Final Report
- Issued after completion of all coursework
- Includes grades, learning skills, and written feedback
When the student successfully completes the course, they receive a certificate of completion.
How will my learner transition to a physical or high school after Dakanvics?
- We suggest that parents or guardians contact future schools to inquire about their processes and documentation requirements regarding the student’s educational history. Dakanvics recommends that learning coaches document student progress as much as possible as proof of course completion to provide to future schools. Dakanvics students enrolled in facilitated courses may use report cards as proof, and students in independent courses may use the gradebook and completed assessments as proof. The detailed course outline can also be used to demonstrate that the Ministry’s expectations have been covered in the course.
Courses under the ACA program will contribute to the official credit portfolio, with diplomas awarded upon completion. Diplomas are recognized in multiple countries.
