Course Description
The Grade 1 Mathematics program focuses on building foundational numerical understanding and early logical thinking for students at the beginning of their learning journey. Through hands-on activities and real-life experiences, students develop the ability to count, compare, measure, recognize geometric shapes, and solve simple problems.
The program is developed in alignment with the Cambridge Primary Mathematics Curriculum Framework—a widely recognized international standard that emphasizes problem-solving skills, the ability to articulate reasoning, and the application of mathematics in daily life.
Cambridge Stage 1 aims to foster a love for mathematics, enable students to apply knowledge to familiar situations, and gradually develop clear and natural mathematical communication skills.
