Course Description
The Grade 3 Science program helps students further expand their understanding of the natural world by exploring living organisms, materials, forces, and the environment in greater depth.
Based on the Cambridge Primary Science Curriculum Framework, the program is delivered online and combines visual resources, at-home experiments, interactive games, and teacher guidance—aiming to develop scientific thinking skills and the ability to explain phenomena with clear reasoning.
Students are trained to learn through observation, experimentation, and explanation—laying the foundation for logical scientific thinking and real-life application.
🔹 Learning Content
🔹 Learning Methodology
The program encourages students to explore and explain phenomena in their own words, fostering independence, confidence, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.
-
Predict – Test – Explain Cycle
Each lesson follows a cycle of predicting, experimenting, and explaining, helping students develop a clear scientific inquiry mindset. -
Hands-on Home Experiments
Students conduct guided experiments at home using simple materials such as ice, water, heat, and leaves. -
Science Illustration Projects
Students create diagrams of life cycles, plant structures, and food chains using either digital drawing tools or hand-drawn methods, enhancing observation and presentation skills. -
Online Classrooms & Group Discussion
Small online group sessions are organized for students to discuss, debate, share experiment results, and ask extension questions from the lesson. -
Reflection and Self-Assessment
After each lesson, students answer questions like “What do I know now?” and “What do I still not understand?”—building critical thinking and self-adjustment skills in learning.
